Travel and urban exploration are the foundation of my work. I capture moments directly in my sketchbook, observing people and their surroundings. This immediate process allows me to authentically capture the atmosphere of a place. In my final pieces, I combine gouache or watercolor with fineliners, blending classic painting with modern graphic elements.

Born in Russia, I lived in Moscow for 23 years. Since 2021, I have been living and working in Germany. Based in Magdeburg.

"I draw most often in my sketchbook: on my lap on a train or in a crowded bar. In such quick and lively sketches, the fleeting sweetness of the present is best preserved.”

"When I was in the 1st grade, our school held an art contest. I think I participated too, but didn't win anything. Paintings were hung everywhere in the hallway. I remember walking up to the largest ones (they were probably a full A2 size), and one painting impressed me forever: a winter forest in shades of pink and blue, realistic gouache, with dappled deer. In that moment, it dawned on me, and I knew my calling was to be an artist."
